Improve documentation

I'm adding this issue for Hacktoberfest! 🎃

For new people setting up this project locally: if you find holes or confusing/out-of-date instructions in the docs, we'd love a PR!

This is a very open ended issue. Feel free to comment if you have any questions/comments!

If you want to do any process changes (ex. adding new dependencies), let us know before you get started. We wouldn't want you to put a lot of effort into something we're not going to merge!

I would like to write a detailed process on how to contribute to the project locally before submitting a PR. For example adding a remote upstream and creating a new branch. This information will be in the CONTRIBUTION.md file.
