Support for more brands of handheld devices

Some developers have now created a dual-boot loader that supports Xbox Rog Ally X, https://github.com/MacleodTW/Rog_rEFInd. Can this be used as inspiration to enable Clover-dualboot support for more brands of handheld devices? Additionally, how can Clover-dualboot be used with Secure Boot enabled?

I'll read more about this driver. i'd have to ask you some details tho to fully make this work on an Ally as i dont have one.

Updated the script. Please clone the repo to get the latest version and run the script to install it.

This should install the XBOX 360 UEFI driver if running on Legion Go, Legion GO S, ROG Ally or ROG Ally X.

Test the dpad / controller if it works on the Clover menu.

DPAD = up / down / left / right.

A = ENTER

B = ESC

I would like to suggest adding support for ChimeraOS (SkorionOS). Please note that its boot configuration differs from SteamOS/Bazzite in the following ways:
Independent EFI Partition: It uses a dedicated/independent EFI partition for booting.
Boot Path: The specific bootloader path is located at:
/frzr_root/boot/EFI/systemd/systemd-bootx64.efi
System Username: The default system username is fixed as gamer (unlike deck on SteamOS).

I'd need to get in touch with the author of UsbXbox360Dxe as i cant figure out why the controllers are not working. Already tried 8bitdo and logitech F710 controllers it doesnt respond. The driver detects it and creates a default config file but the controllers are not responding. Even booting to a minimal UEFI shell and manually loading the driver it doesnt seem to work.

There is no issues tab on his GitHub repo so i can't get in touch with him directly. I'll try tinker with this for a few more days and see how it goes.

Just update on my testing -

• Logitech F710 is listed as supported controller by the xbox 360 uefi driver
• Driver detects it and creates a default config file
• dpad and face buttons do not respond
• BUT the stick gets detected as mouse, and the left / right triggers gets detected as mouse clicks!

I think the issue now is with clover config. Gonna continue testing in the next few days

Clover script updated!

• updated to Clover 5168
• mouse enabled in the config
• XBOX 360 UEFI driver for ROG Ally / Legion Go devices
  • DPAD for arrowkeys
  • A = ENTER
  • B = ESC
  • If DPAD doesnt work, use the LEFT THUMBSTICK to control the mouse pointer
  • RIGHT TRIGGER for LEFT MOUSE CLICK
  • LEFT TRIGGER for RIGHT MOUSE CLICK
• XBOX 360 UEFI driver may stall / hang on Legion Go devices
  • XBOX 360 UEFI driver keeps polling the controller which makes Clover look like in a hang state
  • Manually delete the XBOX 360 UEFI driver - sudo rm /esp/efi/clover/drivers/uefi/UsbXbox360Dxe.efi

im gonna close this issue as i dont have ROG Ally / Legion Go devices to test. I only have Steam Deck OLED and Steam Deck LCD for my testing. feel free to update this with your findings. at this point for ROG Ally / Legio Go devices we are relying on the XBOX 360 Controller UEFI driver.

As long as its running SteamOS yes I can add support. I will need this information to proceed to add support for the script -

Handheld Name - example MSI Claw, etc etc
