Closing: the idna bump here is moot and the lockfile change is regressive.

uv.lock is vestigial in this repo — every install path (ci.yml, audit.yml, release.yml) uses pip install -e ".[extras]" straight from pyproject.toml; nothing reads the lock. idna resolves fresh from PyPI regardless of what the lock says.

This PR's lock was also resolved with the optional ML extras, re-adding the entire torch/CUDA/transformers tree that the committed (lean) lock omits — a regression hiding inside a patch bump.

Removing the unused uv.lock in a follow-up so Dependabot stops generating weekly uv-lock noise. pip + pyproject remains the source of truth.
