GOG (Good Old Games) offline game installer crashes at launch

Describe what you noticed and did

1, Launch any GOG installer
2. Get an error message

I have been able to reproduce it with 3 different GOG games/installers. Test with both Standard and Application Compartment box.
I would like to ask other users to share their experience in this regard.

Where is the program located?

The program is installed only inside a sandbox (NOT in the real system anyway).

Expected behavior

Launch the installer properly.

An account with UAC protection completely turned off.

Is it a new installation of Sandboxie?

I just updated Sandboxie from a previous version (I don't remember which one).

Can you reproduce this problem on a new empty sandbox?

I can confirm it also on a new empty sandbox.

Did you previously enable some security policy settings outside Sandboxie?

What I mean is offline game installers. It has nothing to do with GOG Galaxy application/launcher. I made the title of the ticket more precise.

What does launching a game installer has to do with forcing D3D9? I did try it anyway but the result is the same.

The ticket has nothing to do with GOG Galaxy. It's about separate offline game installers.
I cannot provide download links. GOG is a game store as Steam or Origin/EA. If you have ever bought or received (via a giveaway) any game there you can download it (its offline installer) from your account's library.
But if you insist, HERE's HROT - a game demo that is available for free on GOG. You can add it to your GOG account and download its offline installer. You will get the same error message as in the original post.

Can confirm the Exception EAccessViolation with an old gog game offline installer using sb+ 1.10.1
I used a new gog game offline installer in june with the 1.9.x and didn't had any issue (unable to test the same installer with sb+ 1.10.1 at this time)

Edit : sb+ 1.10.0 is working

Are you running Windows 7 x64 or Windows 7 x64 SP1? I can open the game with Sandboxie on a Windows 7 x64 SP1 virtual machine without any errors.

It would be better if someone could try it without a virtual machine. Maybe it's a graphics issue.

I've got the latest Win7x64 with all the updates so yes, it's Win7x64 SP1.

We're taking about INSTALLING the game. Not playing it. You recorded a video with launching the game. I cannot even install the HROT version I linked in my previous post. The error in the original post is the error I get when I try to launch THE HROT GOG INSTALLER in Sandboxie.

Can you confirm it works properly with 1.10.0 but doesn't work with 1.10.1?
