This is awesome! Would be really cool to build the growth rate and annual mix evolution into the calculation, so that as time passes we weight more heavily to 5G.

Regarding mobile base station energy consumption, the UCLouvain has also published really interesting work specifically looking at the Belgium cade:

• Evaluation and projection of 4G and 5G RAN energy footprints: the case of Belgium for 2020–2025 (behind paywall)
• Power consumption evaluation of mobile radio access networks using a bottom-up approach: Modeling 4G
  networks and prospections of 5G deployment in Belgium

Maybe this can help define consumption factors that would be relevant for Europe even tho I imagine that there could be important differences between countries in terms of infrastructure and deployment rates.
