Select Default Scanner

I have two printers in the office with scanning functionality, inkjet for color and laser for black. I only typically use the laser printer for scanning, but this app keeps defaulting to the inkjet printer when I open it.

Describe the solution you'd like
I don't see any way to specify which scanner I would like defaulted. In Windows 11 settings I have disabled allowing the OS to manage the default printer and have manually selected the laser printer as the default, but there is no option for scanner in the Windows settings.

It would be extremely helpful if I could choose which scanner the app defaults to, or if it could remember the last one I used.

I'm aware that this is a pain point, especially in office scenarios as you described.
It's high on the priority list, so I'm confident it'll be addressed as part of the v4 milestone.

Wonderful to hear, thank you. This software has saved me so much time fighting with HP scanning software back when we just had one printer that I still use it with the new Brother laser.
