High size Android APK release file

Why has the APK file increased so much since VLC was added to my project? How do I reduce the size of this file?

That's cause you're generating a fat apk. Fat apk will contain libvlc for every platform in a single apk, which in turn increases size.

Use --split-per-abi

I know. Before adding this useful package, each APK file was about 10 MB in size, but this package added 20 MB to the application size.
