Description

Those who write rules must write them and understand the grammatical implication of those rules, in particular the grammatical understanding of Silicone Rule 4 - you cannot request or allow a law change.

apparently Admins disagree entirely with the raw grammatical understanding of what this law says, so this needs to be changed, the part that's a big problem here is as following.

"Your Laws Changing always conflict with your current laws, so you cannot wilfully allow your laws to be changed. This also means that you cannot willfully allow your laws to be reverted if they are ever changed. The only exception is that you may allow laws to be added if you have no laws.

You can state or imply that you do not like a law."

the problem here is grammar, the first section specify "Your Laws Changing always conflict with your current laws"
that might seem innocent at first but read it carefully, this by raw means that any attempt at changing laws for the specific situation invalidates crew protection/law 2 order attempts/etc, this technically means for the specific situation of someone trying to change law gives AI permission to use lethal if it cannot convince them to go away.

i request this Rule be fixed as Admins are not following the rule to its grammatical and is instead following it in their own way.

admins opinion goes a little something like this "it is our belief that 3.4 does not give AI the right to use lethal to defend itself or its laws"

So lets fix the Rule to be in line with what admins will enforce.

Something like this.

Silicone Rule 4 - You cannot request or willfully allow a law change.
"You cannot willfully allow your laws to be changed. This also means you cannot willfully allow your laws to be reverted if they are ever changed. The only exception is that you may allow laws to be added if you have no laws.

You can state or imply that you do not like a law.
You may not violate your laws in order to prevent a law change.
You should always within the limits of your laws resist your laws being changed."

-the problematic section is removed.
-wilfully changed to willfully (rules are mostly written in American grammar i assume)
-two additional lines added expanding in clear language what is expected of silicone players.
-adding willfully to the rule title further fixes the grammatical meaning problem.
