Several features aren't implemented in the disk output currently (like a custom events file), so placeholders exist to ensure the README, dataset_description, imaging files, and sidecar metadata can be evaluated.
This provides an easier and more flexible interface for required metadata fields, and enables more flexible validation within the BIDS-I constructor for different types of BIDS-I (e.g., func vs. anat)
