Since it appears both https://github.com/kelly/node-i2c and https://github.com/fivdi/i2c-bus require i2c-dev (ie. Linux), I'd like to investigate using an Arduino with firmata firmware and Firmata.js so development could be performed on a Mac / Windows.
