Controller input not picking up

Not sure what it takes for steam to transmit controller input to remote play app. doesn't come through with this.
maybe just run the xbox controller module on the app and it will pick up

i dont think controller works for this app
have you tried using the RemotePlayWhatever app?

Eish, i sent this so long ago. I'm trying to remember. I think i got the controller working on a few games but not sure if it was through this app.
so basically, i tested connecting the controller on the pc that was remoted to you and it works with the game/app that is open but when using remoteplay the controller input is not picked up.

a normal steam game with built in remote worked with controller input but the same steam game through remote play did not work.

i think there is a vonfiguration somewhere to say the app supports controllers that would need to be enabled.
