Summary

  • polish Windows onboarding UX with a centered welcome-first entry screen and cleaner copy
  • improve stepper/progress visuals, status colors, and onboarding spacing/layout polish
  • refine setup action behavior (optional flow handling, Codex prereq gating, command visibility)
  • strengthen dependency detection/install robustness for Windows (npm/path resolution and Codex fallback detection)

Testing

  • node --check client/app.js
  • node --check server/diagnosticsService.js
  • node --check server/setupActionService.js
  • manual VM validation of clean uninstall/reinstall onboarding scenarios
