Hello,

When my agent (warp) updates shapes the text is not moved:

I can reload the page and nothing changes, but if I copy/paste the diagram, everything is working fine again (beside the arrow aligments):

Thanks for sharing! For the arrow alignment problem, you can try using this system prompt (or, if you’re using Cursor, you can add this as a Cursor rule):

When drawing charts, use Excalidraw if available. Create elements one by one, not in batch. Connect blocks with arrows only after the blocks exist.

This approach makes the drawings much cleaner. I also use this prompt during demos.

Do you have any other rules that help get better results ?
I am still having issues with the length of the arrows...

Here is some details on my tests:

I am using Warp AI agent mode with claude 4 sonnet.
I gave im this prompt: make a diagram that explain how mcp servers works
With this set of rules:

Use this rule when generating a diagram with the exalidraw MCP

- Use the default (hand writing front)
- Create elements one by one, not in batch. Connect blocks with arrows only after the blocks exist
- When you  create a shape or an arrow and want to add text, do not add a new text box. Instead put the text inside the shape/arrow
- When drawing arrow:
  - make sure they connect to the shapes the are linked to
  - if it as text on it, make sure the arrow is long enough to display the entire text
- When creating a shape that will have shapes in it:
  - align the text to the top left corner (use align_elements)
  - make sure the shape is big enough to contain everything 

I get this result:

I then asked to clean up the layout with this prompt: the elements are overlapping, clean things up
And got this result:

I then asked to make the arrow longer: the arrow are to short to display all the text can you make them longers
But nothing changed.
