Using MCP to delete content doesnt work

If I create Excalidraw content using Claude MCP, thats works great, but then If I want refinements that require deleting some content, the MCP seems to fail here.

Thanks for the report — this was very likely caused by an ID mismatch when elements were created in batch: the MCP server would create elements with IDs, but the canvas batch endpoint used to generate new IDs, so later deletes/updates by the MCP IDs would 404.

Fix is now on main via PR #34 (batch endpoint preserves passed IDs). If you’re using Docker, please pull the latest images (or rebuild) and try again.

If it still happens, please share:

1. whether the diagram was created via the batch_create_elements MCP tool, and
2. the element id you’re attempting to delete + the exact MCP error text.

This should be solved in our latest version!
