I am Isaac Adjei (Zac), an Electronic Engineering and Computer Science student at Aston University, Birmingham, working towards a First Class degree. I build across hardware and software, with a focus on embedded systems, full-stack development, AI/ML and cyber security.
I moved from Ghana to the UK in 2022 and switched from business to engineering, earning D*DD at Stanmore College before starting EECS at Aston. I am partially sighted, and that experience has shaped my discipline and long-term commitment to building inclusive, practical technology that solves real-world problems.
- Building end-to-end engineering projects that integrate electronics, embedded systems and hardware design with full-stack software, cloud tools and AI-driven features
- Seeking internships, placements and professional work experience across engineering and tech roles
- Open to collaborations, project work and career opportunities in both HW/SW domains - contact me via LinkedIn or email above
I use a core set of tools regularly and keep expanding into new areas through projects, labs and coursework. (Click each section below to expand and view the full tech stack.)

Creative & Productivity
This tech stack represents my ongoing learning journey in engineering and technology. I am developing these skills through:
- University learning - structured learning across computer science, electrical/electronic engineering and robotics
- Personal projects and hackathons - practical hardware and software development, rapid problem solving and competitive environments
- Online courses and labs - self-paced learning in different fields of engineering and technology
- Research and exploration - studying emerging technologies and real-world engineering practices
NB: I am not an expert in all these technologies. This is a living document that reflects both what I actively use and what I am currently learning.
A fully engineered 64-LED WS2812B cube with adaptive brightness, multi-pattern animation and complete documentation, built with Arduino C++, custom wiring and sensor integration.
A full-stack CV database website built from scratch with PHP 8.2, MySQL and custom CSS, including secure authentication, CV management and PDF export.
A structured open-source Git course with 100+ files covering everything from basics to advanced workflows. Built to help developers and students learn Git properly through hands-on practice.
More builds and projects available on GitHub and at isaacadjei.me/projects.
Outside academics I learn through online courses, personal builds and self-development. I enjoy:
- Playing piano and listening to music
- Gym & fitness and cycling
- Cooking and travel
- Reading and journaling
- Building personal projects and working through structured online courses
I completed the Cancer Research UK 10 Days of 5K Challenge, running over 50km in 10 days in March 2026. For me, growth is not occasional - it is an active lifestyle.
