Use `mhchem` KaTeX extension

Is there a way to use the [mhchem](https://github.com/KaTeX/KaTeX/tree/main/contrib/mhchem) extension listed in the [KaTeX docs](https://katex.org/docs/libs)? I'm using `zero-md` in my Anki template:
