Idea : Translation button on messages

Hello,

I'm a Meshtastic user slowly moving over to Meshcore, and I just found this opensource meshcore app.

I actually really like the official Meshcore app too it looks nice, I like simple and utilitarian designs.

Just an idea....

A lot of us travel or chat in mixed-language groups and constantly copy-pasting into google translate gets old fast.

Would be awesome to have an optional toggle (off by default so the UI stays clean, so it doesn't bother those who don't nead it) that either:

• auto-translates incoming messages that aren't the phone's settings language (with a little tag/icon or something indicating the translation) or just
• a "Translate" option when we long-press a message.

Could use whatever's already on the phone (google Translate API if available, or maybe ML Kit offline stuff).
I don't know how it works, but this would be cool.

I would also like a translation function,
but please do not implement online (google/deepl) dependencies.
I think an easy accessible share button to the translation apps would be great.
(there seems to be a way to only get these as targets, because my Browser can do this. But sharing to other programms could also be interesting.)
Because there are many different translation programs and preferences seem to vary considerably.
At least that's my observation and opinion.

I think having multiple API, online, opensource or not, is fine.
From translations app already on the phone of the user, google translate online, etc.

I don't know if it's possible, but with opening links or files, or a web browser, we can choose which one would be de default.

This could be the same here.
