Summary

  • Adds Avatar to the list of customizable columns in the Spend help site article (Using-Reports-in-New-Expensify.md)
  • This reflects the change in added Avatar column to Report table column selector #89421, which makes the Avatar column toggleable in the Report table column selector (previously it was always shown)

Test plan

  • Verify the help site article renders correctly with the new Avatar column entry
  • Confirm the column list matches the current UI options

The Avatar column is now toggleable in the column selector for
Reports, so the help site should list it as an available column.

HelpDot Documentation Review

Overall Assessment

This is a minimal, well-formed addition — a single bullet item added to an existing list of customizable column descriptions. The new line follows the established pattern of the surrounding entries.

Scores Summary

  • Readability: 10/10 - The new line is clear, concise, and matches the formatting pattern of adjacent entries (bold label, em dash, short description).
  • AI Readiness: 10/10 - No structural changes; the addition sits within an already well-structured article with proper YAML metadata and task-based headings.
  • Style Compliance: 10/10 - "Avatar" is bolded as a UI element name, consistent with naming conventions. The description is literal and precise.

Key Findings

  • The new entry uses the exact same formatting pattern as all other column entries: - **Label** – Description. This is consistent and correct.
  • "Avatar" appears to match the column name shown in the product UI, satisfying the exact-terminology requirement.
  • The em dash character used () matches the em dashes used in surrounding entries, maintaining typographic consistency.
  • No governance rules are violated by this change.

Recommendations

  • None. This is a clean, well-formatted single-line addition that follows all established conventions.
