output: selected channel is not properly restored on reload

Bug Description:

The selected output channel is not preserved on reload:

output-channel.mp4

Steps to Reproduce:

1. start the application with theia as a workspace
2. execute the command reset workbench layout
3. open the output-view with view > output
4. select the editorconfig channel
5. select the hosted-instance-log channel
6. reload the app
7. notice that the editorconfig channel is restored
