Rationale

This is part of the ongoing full removal of legacy Studio frontends and their supporting code & toggles: #36275

Description

The following waffle flag will be removed:

• discussions.pages_and_resources_mfe

The flag's documented purpose was to enable the Pages and Resources Micro-Frontend experience. This experience has actually been enabled by default for a while, as the legacy Pages and Resources experience was quietly removed a long time ago.

However, the flag had an undocumented side effect: leaving discussions.pages_and_resources_mfe disabled would also enable the Legacy Discussions experience. As we remove the flag, we are also removing that side effect.

Therefore, operators who wish to use the legacy discussions experience should ensure that the proper Legacy Discussions waffle flag is enabled:

• discussions.override_discussion_legacy_settings.
