stablebranch has been created frommainand #1508 + #1620 merged into it. This PR makesmainaware of the dual-branch setup and kicks off the 5.x beta series.After merging, the changesets action will create a "Version Packages (Pre)" PR bumping to
5.0.0-beta.0. Merging that will publish to npm with thebetadist-tag (notlatest).Test plan
