Marine Weapon Changes

ProGMod R1 B13 (30-12-18)

Axe:

  • Fixed no-reg issue and slightly adjusted animations

ProGMod R1 B12 (28-12-18)

Marine Bullet Weapons:

  • Reverted bullet size change. This will be revisited later based on additional testing to be conducted.

Armory:

  • Adjusted position of shotgun, flamethrower, grenade launcher and MG to match vanilla

ProGMod R1 B11 (26-12-18)

Marine Bullet Weapons:

  • Removed 'BulletSize' on all Marine bullet weapons which was effectively increasing the size of all hitboxes.

Pulse Grenade:

  • Removed 3m hit scan!
  • Now deals full damage to targets directly hit.
  • Hit 'grace' is 0.15m
  • Targets hit no longer regenerate energy at a reduced rate, still attack at a reduced rate however.

Cluster Grenade:

  • Now lights structures on fire for additional burning damage.

ProGMod R1 B10 (23-12-18)

Shotgun:

  • Shotgun damage falloff range adjusted to 6m
  • Shotgun tier 1 upgrade increases reload speed
  • Shotgun tier 2 upgrade increases fire rate

ProGMod R1 B9 (21-12-18)

Flamethrower

  • Lowered damage from 25 to 16
  • Decreased attack cone from 0.15 to 0.05
  • Decreased initial range from 7 to 5
  • Decreased upgraded range from 10 to 8
  • Changed damage type back to normal from structural
  • Increased burn damage from 0 to 25 (50/s)
  • Lowered max burn duration from 20 to 15
  • Fixed OnFire damage not applying when structures are still being damaged

Pistol:

  • Changed damage type to Normal

ProGMod R1 B8 (20-12-18)

Shotgun:

  • Tightened spread, against fade you should be able to reliably hit all pellets up to around 6m (was 3m previously).

MG:

  • Decreased damage from 15 to 14

Flamethrower:

  • Increased damage from 20 to 25
  • Increased attack cone from 0.08 to 0.15

Welder:

  • Lowered player welding rate from 50 to 30
  • Increased structure repair rate from 90 to 120

ProGMod R1 B7 (19-12-18)

Shotgun:

  • Increased SG Choke Upgrade minimum range falloff from 6.5 to 8

MG:

  • Increased base MG clip size from 75 to 100
  • Increased upgraded MG clip size from 100 to 125

Flamethrower:

  • Increased base flamethrower range from 6 to 7
  • Increased upgraded flamethrower range from 9 to 10
  • Flamethrower now deals structural damage
  • Flamethrower DOT now deals no damage

Welder:

  • Welder now repairs 50 player armor a second, up from 20 (structures still the same at 90/s)

BugFix:

  • Fixed GrenadeLaunchers not dealing correct 4x damage to structures

ProGMod R1 B6 (18-12-18)

Welder:

  • Welder deals Flame damage type (fixes attacking Webs)
  • Welders do not drop on death now (you still always respawn with one, and can drop it for a teammate)

Mines:

  • Mines pRes cost lowered from 15 to 5
  • Mines must be purchased each time, only come with 2
  • Mine no longer have global limit per player
  • Marines can re-buy grenades or switch to another grenade type for 2 pRes. They will the continue to respawn with that grenade

Flamethrower:

  • Flamethrower damage increased from 12 to 20
  • Flamethrower damage cone and radius adjusted to require more precise aiming
  • Flamethrower clip size lowered from 50 to 25
  • Flamethrower range lowered from 9 to 6
  • Flamethrower damage type changed from Flame to Normal
  • Flamethrowers now set structures on fire again, which causes 30 additional damage per second

ProGMod R1 B5 (15-12-18)

Shotgun:

  • Shotgun base RoF increased by ~8%
  • MG base damage increased to 15

Grenades:

  • Fixed grenades only costing 2 pRes

Bug Fix:

  • Fixed marine weapons not costing any pRes

ProGMod R1 B4 (15-12-18)

Marine Weapon Changes:

  • You will always respawn with utility upgrades (Welders, Grenades, Mines). *Nades and Mines share the same utility slot and you can only spawn with 1 type at a time

Grenades:

  • Grenades (Pulse, Gas, Cluster) cost increased from 2 to 10

Mines:

  • Mines cost increased from 10 to 15
  • You now start with 3 Mines
  • You can only have 3 active mines. Newly placed mines will delete oldest if over the cap.
  • Mine health increased from 30 to 80
  • Mine armor increased from 0 to 10
  • Mines now 'Arm' in 0.03 seconds, exploding almost instantly
  • Mines can be destroyed before they fully deploy (~4 seconds) without exploding

Shotgun:

  • Shotgun cost decreased from 20 to 15

Flamethrower:

  • Flamethrower cost decreased from 20 to 10
  • Flamethrower now benefits from weapon upgrades

MG:

  • MG damage increased from 9 to 13
  • MG damage type changed to do full damage to players, 50% damage to structures. (Previously it did bonus damage to players)

Grenade Launcher:

  • GL damage lowered from 165 to 80 (Double vs structure)
  • GL does double damage to Flammable structures
  • GL now benefits from weapon upgrades

Weapon Weights:

  • Weight has been adjusted, weapon weights listed below:
    • Pistol Weight = 0.05
    • Rifle Weight = 0.175
    • Grenade Launcher Weight = 0.3
    • Flamethrower Weight = 0.2
    • Shotgun Weight = 0.225
    • MG Weight = 0.4
    • MG Upgraded Weight = 0.25
    • Hand Grenades Weight = 0.05
    • LayMine Weight = 0.075
    • Welder Weight = 0.05

Welder:

  • Welder cost increased from 3 to 10
  • Welder attack range slightly lowered.
  • Welder damage type changed from flame to structural

ProGMod R1 B2 (8-12-18)

Shotgun:

  • Increased SG rate of fire by ~6.5%
  • Shotgun damage falloff starting range increased to 5m from 4m

ProGMod R1 B1 (7-12-18)

Shotgun:

  • Shotgun pellets per shot lowered to 10, damage increased to 17 per pellet (Same overall damage).
  • Shotgun spread adjusted to be a bit tighter overall.
  • Shotgun damage falloff added, starts at 4m and ends at 16m. After 16m only 1 damage per pellet is done.
