Silver‐Lined Boat
Boats can be lined with silver, which is an essential tactic to surviving travel on Lumar's spore seas. Silver-lined boats retain their silver durability when broken and placed, allowing the same boat to be re-used without fear of losing its durability. They also retain their silver durability when upgraded to a Boat with a Chest.
While it has silver, it will kill harmful spore particles as well as Spore Sea Blocks it passes through, leaving a gray trail of dead spores behind it. However, every time it kills spores degrades its durability, which is displayed both as a durability meter in item form as well as a visual indication of silver damage on the Boat.
Silver Ingots can be applied to boats either by crafting them together (each Silver Ingot must be in its own slot, due to crafting mechanics), or interacting with the boat when it is placed. Each Silver Ingot repairs its durability by 25% of its total value, which means players must repair the silver lining of their Boats over time. Silver can last for a long time without degrading.
